Turner Wood captures the emotional power of modern pop music and combines it with the power of rock and Dance music. A small artist from Birmingham, Alabama, Turner is determined to hit the stage and dazzle audiences. Starting his musical career as a rhythm guitarist, Turner has always had a deep love for all forms of art, but especially music. With inspirations like David Bowie, Chappel Roan, and Michael Jackson, Turner aims to blend his visual knowledge of film with his powerful vocals and thrilling melodies to bring a modern version of glam to the stage. His love for theatrics began at a young age. Since the age of two, Turner was taught the basics of film, creating short movies with his uncle. This early expression of creativity eventually grew into a strong passion for movies, framing, and music videos. It was through his love of music videos that Turner discovered his favorite musician, David Bowie. First introduced to Bowie by his mother, Turner truly fell in love with him after watching the Ashes to Ashes music video. Bowie had a profound influence on Turner’s budding musical career, with the first song he ever learned on guitar being Bowie’s Rock ’n’ Roll Suicide. This influence helped shape Turner’s mature sound, which is harmonically rich and vocally experimental. In his teenage years, like many of his peers, Turner fell in love with modern pop music. Being inspired by the vocal forward sound, and dense production. Turner didn’t develop a serious interest in pursuing music until he was 19. From that point on, he decided to abandon the desire for comfort and dedicate himself to becoming someone who could inspire others. This drive has carried Turner through breakups, band struggles, and countless hardships. It has also fueled his unending passion for creating music and other forms of art. Turner’s passion continues to push him forward as a musician and will one day help him become the genre-defining, highly influential artist he has always dreamed of being.
